This is the latest model completed, a 1in bore x 2in stroke horizontal mill engine, I used plans obtained from Stuart Models but modified them somewhat.
I wanted to add a flyball governor which the Stuart plans did not have so I had cast a common base instead of the two individual beds on the plan this gave me a pad on which to mount the governor, I extended the flywheel boss on one side into which I cut a groove to accomodate a drive belt (An O-Ring) to drive the governor via bevel gears.
Although I have only run the engine on compressed air so far I am pleased with the way it runs, it has been quite an interesting project to make.
My current project is a quarter scale Galloway IC engine but more on that later.
