hi. I've been playing with the thought of making a staight 4 as a project at my school. I want the engine to be about 50cc and run on regular unleaded. Is this a complete idiotic idea, or is it something that can be done? I have a team of about 15 people in my project group, and we have 9 weeks to finish. Please give me your thoughts, and advises :)
Best regards Rasmus.

It's worth a go Rasmus, even if you don't finish it in the time.

You will learn a lot about project management and working in a team.

Don't forget to decide who gets the (maybe unfinished) engine at the end of the time.

And please post some photos and keep us informed of your progress.

Jim

How many hours per week can your team devote to the project? There is a good chance that you can just about get it finished if you organise it properly.

Paul.
