Hi All,

Is anyone going to the Steam-Era show next weekend in Milton, Ontario??

This will be my first show for steam of any kind.
Usually it has been all the woodworking shows.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing everything there!!

Will take the camera along and take some pics of interesting stuff!!!

Andrew

Is there a website for it to get some more details from?

Thanks
Ray

My wife and I will be there on Saturday in the morning sometime.

Look forward to meeting you Chuck!

Andrew

I hope they can put on an impressive show. The Alberta Government shot us down this year. After more than twenty years of Harvest Festivals at a Provincial Museum they said no more live steam.

Our boilers are all tested by the same inspectors who test commercial and industrial boilers and our operators are all qualified steam engineers but some pencil pushing civil servant decided that liability was too high.

Oh for a world not regulated by faceless, nameless lawyers and accountants.

Best Regards
Bob

I couldn't agree with you more.

Maybe you need to get Ralph back in the saddle again.

Cheers :)

Don

Ralph was pushed out by the left leaning part of his caucus and replaced with with one of those politicians who fought for a job that was beyond his capability. After five years he has been pushed out and we have six people fighting for the job in a leadership race.

Personally, I don't have much faith in any of them. In this world of political correctness, we have too many people who think that the few rich people can support everyone else.
