Starting them Young

Hello All:
I tried to get my children to play in the shop when they were young (under supervision) so that they would know about tools. Tina has a tool kit that I gave her to do some of her home maintenance on her condo and Eric understands even more about tools and what fun you can have making things with them.
Eric's picture is from the late 80's

Tina's picture is from the early 80's.

Eric designed and made his own oscillating engine about 6 years ago. (Proud kid, on first run)

Eric is now into making guitars and at Christmas he and I had a lot of fun in the shop.

Both of them are grown now and graduated from colleges and live far away but at least I think they realize what tools can do for them or what they can do with tools.
I am a proud Dad!
