Well last fall my beautiful young niece announced that she was getting married. She and her intended wanted something different for there cake topper. They wanted a " V" not just any "V" but one to match the script type style chosen for invitations menus etc. They found some nice ones but a bit pricey. then they decided they could get one made if they found someone that was good at metalwork. So kind uncle takes a few tools to engagement party and gets the couples input. in an hour or so the "V" was fashioned then home to the lathe to make a Plexiglas disk base.

well here is a photo of the design session last fall.
