A friend at work loves to go to tool auctions and collect antique tools.
He buys lots of tools and brings them home to see what he has won, sometimes good, sometimes not so good!
Well today i got to pick over some of his metal working tools!
He is a woodworker so does not really need them, so off they went to their new home!

My favourite is an Archimedes drill, just very cool!!
And the Square Circle, finds the centres of shapes.
Some cool calipers, engineers squares, Japanese brass clamps and a micrometer!
;D ;D :big:

You may have a jewel there.
The mic looks like it may be an old Starrett.
Is it?

Close but not too close!
It is a Brown & Sharpe MFG. Co. from Providence, R.I. U.S.A.

They are still made today, but not like this one.
It is around 50 years old and still as smooth as the day it was made!

I will have to learn oe to read this one, i do not work in inches so it is all gibberish to me!

that square circle will make your life easier, when trying to find center of rods

very useful all the other tools too
