Aw,shucks,it's only 26degrees C here today :big:
We don't get snow very often here in New Zealand, but when we do,everyone panics. If we get an inch of snow, everything falls flat.Wimps. :big: :big:

I know what you mean Bentprop..
Hell, we don't even shovel a inch... ;D In central massachusetts....we get plenty...but every year, when the first real storm comes....everybody gets amnesia.....like its the end of the world or something.

Right now I have about 18 to 20" of snow here in Barrie and consider myself very lucky. Over at Wasaga Beach on Georgian Bay, about 20 miles from my place, they have over 72" on the level.

We've had 27" since Nov. 17th. That's normal for here, and will do over 100" here at the house
by the time it's done.

Sorry to hear that Don. :'(
Over here model engineering is just delayed until the temp drops below 35°C in the shed. That's about 9pm.

Cheers,
Phil

Don-Tucker, that's just what folks in the North-East and Canad call a dusting, don't even need a shovel, just a light broom and it is a fond memory. You need about 24" and drifting to call it snow.

Of course - now that I live in South Texas all that is just a bad memory. Supposed to be cold tonight - 42 - 48 Fahrenheit. (Yes - we'll be complaining...)

I stand defeated. We are promised more so maybe I will put in another bid :big:
Don

We've had about 4 inches here in Surrey.

Georgian Bay is really nice Brian, we went swimming from a beach not far from Wassaga. Somewhere between Collingwood and Thornbury I think.

Vic.

I live in southern New Jersey between the Delaware bay and the Atlantic ocean. I bit of change in wind direction can mean the difference between getting lots of snow (A nor'easter) or nothing. We just dodged a storm this time.
