Here's my latest and almost complete engine - a simplified Elmer's Scotch yoke/rotary valve.
Just need to block up the hole on the end of the frame, remove the boss on the flywheel (don't ask!), maybe shape the bracket and make some screws for it. It's all steel and brass except the cylinder which is cast iron.
Probably a little different to the original in proportion too as I converted the plans to metric.
If it runs ok I'm going for a supersize version
