Looks like you built yourself a very nice quick change tool post. Now you will be building holders for the rest of your life. ;D Nice job.

Thanks Bronson but...you made me think that the time to be saved-using this tool-will be used to make holders.
Something seems wrong here... :-\

Make the holders in strips...cutting 1 long dovetail....then cut them off.

Next, drop the tool post body in the milling vice, drop the partly finished holder on to the tool post and use it as a fixture.

It'll go much faster!

Making the holders I used only the first part of the method you described...
The second part (using the post body) will be very helpfull,next time (and more times ...)
