I received several emails from other modeling forums notifying the members of Robert Washburn's passing. For those not familiar with Mr. Washburn he was the editor of Strictly I.C. magazine. His contributions to this hobby by the gathering and publishing of drawings and reference material are without measure. He was a regular attendee of the NAMES show for many years and I had the pleasure of dining with him and his wife, Francis, on several occasions. May he rest in peace.

This hobby has lost one of it's greater proponents.

Our thoughts are with his family.

I'm new to the forum, and I feel sorry to post my first message in such sad an event.
I knew Robert Washburn from his articles on Model Engine Builder, and I'm sure we will all miss his experience and wisdom in model engineering.
To his family my sincere condolences.
Emanuele
