Have any of you ever posted a reply to someones question and find out that you have wasted your time because it didn't post. Often when you are repling, someone else has replied to the same thread and if things change while you are typing, you are asked if you are sure you still want to post the reply. Well my screen view is not big enough to see the question and when i back out of the screen, my reply is tossed into thin air.

Is there anyway to turn that feature off. In every instance I would still not have changed my reply anyway! DRIVES ME NUTS! Happens at least a couple times a week.

WHEW! OK, i feel better now. ;D

Cheers

Hi Steve,
It's happened to me more than once. I type out what I consider a well thought out answer to someone's question, post it and bang it's gone. Most times I'm teed off enough that I don't redo it. And here I thought it was only me!

That is a feature built in to the SMF software.

You CAN disable it by going to your Profile > Look and Layout Preferences
In that list you will see the option: Don't warn on new replies made while posting.
Check that box and it will never happen again.
