I rode the bike down to this Victorian pumping station, because it was in steam, today. Here are a few pics. There are 6 boilers, three of which are in use at a time. The flywheels are 20ft diameter and weigh 24 tons, the beams 25ft long weigh 13 tons each. The pumping capacity was 1.5m gallons per day. Built by James Watt between 1882 and 1884.
On sight there are also, a 1930 4 stroke diesel generator for a cinema, a couple of single cylinder vertical engines, a 3 cylinder vertical engine and two horizontal steam engines used to operate the winding gear of the local Linby colliery (the last picture)
enjoy
kind regards
Peter

They are just so pretty. And, as Lennardhme says, you have so many of them.
