New noob intro

Hello everyone,

I'm Chris (Christine) - currently have a PM 1127VF lathe, just inherited my Dad's 7' lathe and Bridgeport Milling machine (still 3000 miles away, and nowhere to put it). Also a Little Machine shop mini lathe and small milling machine, all the usual woodworking tools (bandsaw/beltsander/table saw, etc.). 100 Watt CO2 laser, 3 Prusa 3D printers, and a heavily modified/upgraded Creality CR01-s5 3D printer (the BIG one).

I coach a high school robotics team.

Hey Chris, welcome.
I inherited my dad's home shop, and had to move all of it, which was a pain.
And it took up my entire garage, but I am glad I saved it.

San Diego is a magical place.
We stayed at the Del many years back, and visited Torrey Pines glider park, when I had a niece that lived out there.

I try and rope as many folks as possible into starting a backyard foundy, which is what I have, and a hobby that I find to be quite fun.

Good luck with your equipment.

There is a lot of model building depth here, and some nice folks.
