New Horse

For those of you who like horses, here is the latest addition to Rapid Run Farms stable. She is about 5 hours old, healthy, stable, and hungry. This is the first foal for this mare and she is relaxed and calm and maybe a little surprised. I wasn't there for the event, not my job!

My great grandfather was an ostler for Lord Sefton my father loved horses, (seems he spent as many of his school days as possible with gramps).

Me.................they terrify me. I am happy about horses as long as there is a bloody great fence between us. Probably has something to do with being leaned on by a Clydesdale when I was 4 or 5. All I can remember is the fact that I could not breath until dad jabbed him in the stomach with a piece of wood and he got off me.

Enjoy your new foal. It looks like a girl to me but then again what would I know.
