I have worked as a welder for the past 11 years along the way I have picked up a few machining skills over the years. I work in a job shop so having multiple skills is a big plus. I own a Chinese 12x36 lathe and a broken Bridgeport mill. The mill is waiting on time space and money for repair. My primary "hobby" interests are gunsmithing and tool making. I have read posts here off and on and I want to thank every one who has contributed.

Welcome to HMEM and hope that 2012 will be a good year for you. I am sure that when you come to checking out your broken Bridgeport Mill there will be some members that will be willing to give you a few tips on what to look for etc. Just give a shout when your ready. We would love to see any of the projects or tooling that you have made.
