yes I bought a midget in unfinished state lots are the same it looks like a lot of things were left up to the individual builder as to how things worked out mine the cam drive is wider and sealed off and immersed in oil but other areas are identical
I have the original cylinder and head but have made a new cylinder and fitted a gx 31 Honda ohv cylinder top half and Honda piston
no smoke now and a great wee runner
I will redo the original cylinder some time the problem was cyl was alloy with no sleeve and alloy piston resulting in a badly scoured bore and piston possibly why the builder gave up way back all those years ago
