This is an unnofficial announcement (I am not affiliated with these folks), about the model engine show next year that will be held at the National Auto Museum.
Apparently our member "55fairlane" is heading up this effort.
Please support him in this endeavor if you can.
I don't know much about this 2024 show, but apparently it will held at this venue:
https://natmus.org/
Show Dates:
October 2024 will be at National Auto & Truck Museum
The dates will be October 12th and 13th with set up on Friday the 11th.
Auburn Indiana is the location.
A few maps.
The location for this show looks pretty good.
This venue has a lot of potential as far as a good location for a model engine show.
Lets hope all goes well in 2024.
I will have to make some plans if I am going to attend, but an October 2024 show gives me some time to start planning a trip.
And maybe a foundry demonstration, casting some of our own engine castings in gray iron ? How cool would that be ?
There appears to be a lot that could be done with this show, and some organizers that appear willing to support whatever.
Lots of potential for this show in my opinion.
Mark your calendars.
