Thanks Tony. I actually thought I had posted the video!Nice. Do you have a video of it running.
I would love to see your engine. This was my first build and I learned a llt but nowhere near enough to contemplate your modifications. Mine runs fast and slowing it down would be a great success.Beautiful. I recently completed one, and then converted it to Hit and miss.
I guess I should start a new thread if anyone is interested. It did get warm/hot without
water cooling . now with hit and miss, cool. I was given the challenge to make it
hit and miss AND governed. The mechanics are there but the carb I built doesn't
have the throttle fuel/air range. Maybe later.
Beautiful engine .

Did you manage to build the head and valveseats/guides to drawing spec? I had a world of trouble stopping leaks. The valve seats themselves were spot on but I found the guide/seat seal to the head itself wouldnt stop compression from simply bypassing the valve seat going round it rather than through it.Beautiful. I have just had another go at posting a video but it says the file is too big for the server.Nice. Do you have a video of it running.
The server wont let me upload the videoNice. Do you have a video of it running.
Bill, if you open the video on Youtube and copy the web address of the video, then paste the address into a post here on the forum, the video will display in your post.I have just opened a YouTube Channel under the name Billy Harrison, on it is the video of the engine running.
Thanks for the comment.Nice work! I like the fuel tank with the see thru end. What material is this?
Bill, is this you?
Thanks for the comment.
The fuel tank is Aluminium.
The round section is the bottom of an old fire extinguisher screw cut with a very fine thread into the upright which was a piece of billet from my offcuts that was probably from someone elses bin.
