Tonight I finally took the time to go retrieve my toolbox from the
machine shop I used to work for. It's certainly not pretty!
20+ years in a shop will show some wear.

The tools won't be of much use in my hobby shop.
These are a few of them.

My build of the Poppin is in the middle for scale.
It's still nice to have my professional tools back home.

Maybe I can cut them up for stock! :D

Good tools are never wasted,Rick!
It's surprising how often i need a spanner to retighten the vice on the drill press, adjust the height of a toolholder, and a myriad of other things.
And you never know, one of these days you may be asked to trim a full-size loco wheel,so you can use your "baby"calipers :big:

Is there any chance that Crescent wrench is metric?

It's an I'M wrench - (I'm good for rounding nuts).

Best Regards
Bob

It is stamped 15" on one side and CHINA on the other side.
Does that give it a 50/50 chance of being Metric? :D
I used it for 18 years without breaking it. It even survived the abuse
of a cheater pipe being used on it several times.
(Don't do that at home!)

Looking at that picture again, I just noticed something else.
It's Left Hand!

OK so if I have this right, what you have there is a vintage chinese 15" combination metric/standard adjustable left handed crecent wrench...quite a collectors item I would say. woohoo1

If it was made in China, is 18 years old and can stand a cheater pipe being used on it then it must have been made before they learned to make small fancy boat anchors like they do now!

Also, when used as a left handed version it will be metric.

Cheers :)
