I am almost finished building the 3/4 scale, J I Case steam tractor from plans that I found on the Internet. I will be testing it with compressed air but I had a couple of questions for when I want to test it with steam. Does anyone know how to get water into the boiler? I see no way to vent the boiler to allow water to flow in if I try to fill it through the test valve. Also, I have not made the alcohol burner yet but the design calls for it to bolted in place. How do you extinguish the burner without removing it?
