I have followed the recent threads on model diesel design with interest. Yesterday I was reading some issues of SIC magazine (Strictly Internal Combustion) from late 2000 to 2001. There was a build article called "The DUX-the first miniature diesel engine, a single cylinder" by Martin Alewijn of Holland, issues #78 thru 82.
In the build series were interesting designs esp. for the injector and injector pump that don't seem to be replicated in any of the threads I've read. Might be worth a look by those interested.
