Missed a Great Lathe Deal on eBay

A deal on a nice lathe. eBay # 360042142106 is an Emco Maximat Super 11, an Austrian-made 11" x 24" lathe. These are nice lathes and a nice size for the HSM. This one seemed like a deal at $1525.

These lathes are the "big cousins" of my Lathemaster 9x30, which is a copy of the next smaller size Emco.

I saw the auction, thought about bidding, and then said, "Nah, these always go for lots of money."

You don't play you can't win!

You should have played a little Bob, Super 11 is the successor to my V 10 and I wouldn't swop mine for all the lathes in China ;D BTW no pyrotechnics on carbides ;D - many roads to Rome - as long as we all travel safely. Regards Ian.
