I am a little late to pick this one up, but when I went into my local Lidl store this morning, they still had loads of these left on the shelf.

It comes with a wall wart and a very nice in line switch, and a good length of about 12" for the very flexible bit.

I bought the base version rather than the clamp one and I am going to put some neo magnets on the bottom so that I can either have it free standing or stuck somewhere handy on my machine.

I bought two, and even though they don't have the output of halogen, they do have a nice bright output to them, well usable on a machine.
I will also be sticking a piece of clear perspex onto the front of the shade, just to stop swarf getting in there.

So if you want one or more, hurry up before Monday, when they get their new stocks of different items in. I think £7-99p is a very good price for what you are getting.

Looks similar to the Ikea light we were raving about a while back. If so, it's a good buy. The LEDs aren't as bright as a halogen, but a whole lot cooler when the back of your hand rests on the lamp by accident. :D
