The Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers will be hosting the 3rd National Show for Scale Modelers this year, August 21, 22 and 23. Scales models from hand held to ride on will be on display and we are still looking for more who would like to attend. Scale steam engines, gas engines, hot air engines, sawmills, threshing machines and much much more. LIRPF is located at the North entrance of the State Park. From Park Rapids take HWY 71 N to HWY 200, go 6 miles and show grounds is on the left. Contact Eric Bolduc for more information...

Hi All

Since Eric lives in Minnesota I presume that is where this show will be held.

Cheers

Don

For those of you not familiar with Minnesota and the Lake Itasca area, it is the head waters of the mighty Mississippi River.

The following is a list/post my co-planner is compiling on www.smokstak.com.

As you can see, it is becoming quite a list. I hope I'm not missing out on someone. If so, my apologies.

With all of the equipment, it is starting to shape up like quite a show. I hope to see many of you there...even if your model can't make it, we'd still like to see and visit with many of our fellow model makers.
