I'm prepared!
I bought an extra case of beer on the way home and 2 bags of ice....
NOW SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!
In 1972 Hurricane Agnes maintained enough to strength to cause substantial flooding
in this area, hundreds of miles from the coast.
Irene has the potential to do that all over again here.
Big deal! You move what you can upstairs as the water comes up.
If you are closer to the coast, the rules change.
The storm is weakening but if you have never experienced sustained 70 MPH winds, let
me tell you it's SCARY! When you are seeing furniture blowing by and the windows
start popping, you realize your error in staying. It's Too Late Then.
If you are in Irene's direct path and can get out, do that now!
Keep yourself and family safe!
It may fizzle out to be nothing at all.
Wouldn't you feel foolish for running from that?
I WOULDN'T!!!!!
STUFF can be replaced, people can not.........
