That's a part of a real world solution. This is a entry level academic course and cost is not part of the problem. Engineering economics is a 400 level course and an elective only offered every 5th year if there is enough demand.

WD-40 is missing a golden marketing opportunity. Sell a 2 pound engineers hammer labeled as "Super WD-40".

That's funny! But I do think that a 2lb Ball Pein hammer ought to appear in the action path somewhere.

We used to have a 12 lb short sledge, a gallon of wd40, and a propane torch in a little yellow box labeled "persuasion kit" for changing hubs and crossmembers. The infantry guys used to look at us like we were soft in the head when we'd ask them to grab it. Haven't met a crossmember or hub yet that couldn't be persuaded.
