The vehicle maintenance man at the shop I work for drove
to to the garage in a tiny three wheeled pick up truck one day.

It is manufactured by the China based company Wildfire Motors
It is registered as motorcycle and gets about 70MPG fuel economy.
He did say that when you go around a curve the outboard back wheel
often come up off the ground.
"No big deal, you get used to it." (scratch.gif)

Oh yes, they also make cars!

I suppose the big positive would be if it did break down you wouldn't
wouldn't need to call for a tow truck. Just tie a rope on it and pull
it home.

Now I don't think meeting up with one of our white tail deer that
frequent the roads around here in one of those would be much fun,
but I do like playing with any toys that involve an engine.

Could we be seeing the start of a three wheeler comeback?
My brother is in the last stages of restoring a Bond bug.

Had one for 8 years 1968 - 1977 which I had kept it - I paid £480 for it new. Tried to see what it would do to the gallon if I took it easy - over 100 mile trip it do 110 miles to the gallon. Chassis rot though because they let water in at the back and it can't get out.

king pins a pain too.

OEB245H funny how you recall things like that.

Don't suppose for a minute it's the same one but the chassis was pretty bad. So bad that he built a new one from scratch. The hinge plates have been a pain as well as the steel inserts in the fibreglass panells had all blown with rust. Dug them out and replaced with stainless.
