Hi there,
I've just signed on, thought I would introduce myself.
I retired about 5 years ago, with a Sieg C3 lathe and Sieg X2 mill plus a 5m x 6m shed full of stuff.
I used to design build and fly F1B model aeroplanes and make lots of metal bits for them. Although I would hate to think that I'll never compete in F1B again, recently my interest has been more in making small i.c. engines. Specifically 2.5c.c. compression ignition (diesels) engines. Although I haven't finished one yet!
I'm hoping to be able to learn, and contribute here.
cheers
Bill

G'day Bill and welcome. We got a few South Aussies here. What neck of the woods are you from ?

Welcome Bill, how about some pics of your engines in progress? (We love pictures here!) The only way to learn is to ask questions and there's no shortage of people willing to help out here. Have fun.

Hi Bill, welcome to the site. I'm currently making a 1.5cc Lobo Pup Twin Diesel engine, first attempt at a Diesel engine.

Paul.

G'Day Bill,
Welcome to the forum. I am a newbie also but have learnt good things in the short time that I have been a member.
Regards,
Don.

Welcome Bill. I'm building a pair of ML Midge 1cc CI engines. I've got a build log running in the Building Them sub-forum. Hoping to run them this weekend. Lots of good advice on this forum.
Chris

Welcome aboard. Good to see another Aussie.
