Hello from S. Central Illinois

I have been a long time HSM type and have unsuccessfully attempted to get on here before. Now I can and I hope to contribute and learn.

I have built several models and done equipment restorations. I have shown at the Oblong Illinois show for several years and it it coming up again in a few weeks.

The weather here is currently miserable hot and humid. That has slowed me down quite a bit on shop projects. I try and whittle away at things in the morning and evening.

Nice looking engines Bob. I somehow missed your intro in the hubbub yesterday, but am glad I stumbled on it this evening. I don't know how close you are to Oblong, but I am up in Terre Haute.

I'm not going to have as much there this year. My friend Doug Basham passed away at the end of April. He really helped me pull our display together. I miss my friend.
