Hello from new old guy

Hello to all from Henrico VA.

I am a retired electronics design engineer. Worked in R&D for years and spent my lunch hours, and after work in the model shop learning how to run the machines. When I retired I had a shop built. Nothing spectacular, but fairly well equiped. I build tether cars, engines, airplanes of the WWII period. I don't feel qualified to give advise on machining as I am only a hobby person.

Hello new old guy.
I am fairly new to this site myself and I have learned quite a bit already. And I have been a tool maker, more specifically a mold maker for 40+ years. Some of the things people are doing here are amazing. Some very clever folks with little or no formal training.
Don't be afraid to jump in with ideas, we are all learning and sometimes fresh ideas are just what the doctor ordered.
