Hello from Nevada

First, I apologize for not making this intro post a long time ago.

I'm retired, an old worn out mechanic and jack of some trades. I have a fairly complete workshop that I can't use right now. I just had back surgery, so my winter will be one of recovery and playing with a Unimat that I just got.

I'm studying the boiler design books I found in a link from here and will be looking for suitable first steam engine builds on a scale to fit the Unimat. I have ordered parts to create a second Unimat that will become a dedicated micro mill also.

Anyway, Thanks for having me. Hopefully I'll have something useful to contribute eventually.

Welcome to the forum Nevadablue. A Unimat sounds like just the thing for a bloke recovering from back surgery.
