Hello from Holyhead, Uk

Hi everyone,
I'm Sam. I'm 17 and I'm from Holyhead in North Wales. I do BTEC L3 mechanical engineering in coleg menai Bangor where I'm making a small Stirling engine. I did the L2 course before where we made an oscillator. I really enjoy machining but I also like making bits out of scrap in our shed using nothing but a few hand tools and a knackered old pillar drill. We haven't got many proper machines but we do have a lot of tools and eventually we want to get a small lathe with a milling attachment in the shed. I also like restoring stationary engines and I have an old 1976 Land Rover to do up for my first car.

I'm glad I found this site, everytime I browse it inspires me to have a go at something
