Thanks for such a warm welcome to this forum! What a great bunch you are.
Well Ben Peake is my name, I'm 24 and I've been involved in model engineering for about a year now. I've no idea why I began, but I did and the result was my first engine. It never worked (probably because I designed it myself) and I'm too embarrassed to put a photo here. It was, however, a satisfying task and gave me a taste for more. A common story, I'm sure. My second engine was again, of original design, and I'm proud to say it was successful. In total I've made 7 different engines and am half way though the 8th. I've been away from my workshop for 5 months now in Denmark as my girlfriend is finishing her degree in Mathematics here. I have been building my knowledge about all things model engineering whilst away from my workshop and am VERY excited to put some of my plans into action. Here are some videos and pictures of my engines in reverse chronological order (without that first attempt). Some of them are for sale on my website www.peake-engines.com for a small price as I like to make multiple engines rather than just one. If you want to see more pictures from other angles they're on my site also. Enjoy
