Hello all,
Just a quick background, been machining for 11 years, did a machinist apprentiship program out of high school and got an associates in mechanial engineering. Haven't "worked" in the trade for for 5 years but have been machining on my Grizzly G4000 lathe and milling on my Clausing 8525 in the meantime. I love restoring cars (have a 75 Nova and a 72 AMC Javelin SST). I've raced just about everything on dirt and have a passion for engines, particuliarly small engines (Briggs and Strattons-warhorses!). My plans are to build a small steam engine from a Grizzly kit and then design/make a small 1 cyl flathead engine similar to a B&S (Can't find any plans close).
