Heavy 10 compound nut thread size?

This is my first posting, I recently got a South Bend Heavy 10 and am in the process of cleaning it up and eventually rebuilding it. It is missing the nut that holds the compound handle on. This is the nut that is round and has a split slotted face like a screw. Does anyone know the thread size. I thought it was 10-20 but it does not seem to be, nor any of the standard sizes. Any help would be appreciated as well if you happen to have one to sell.

I believe the thread is 12-24, I am still interested if someone has one to sell.
