Hi all
Stopped by my local junk store e today looking for some window sash weights . As i walked to the store I spotted this nice rockwell belt disk sander sitting on it belly. I tipped it up and gave it a look over thinking it will be to much and the wife will kill me lol. Well 100.00 $ latter I left with the sander and a bucket full of sash weight's the guy drove a hard bargen but I wasn't leaving without the weights ???

It must be Belt/Disc Sander season, Dave.

Nice find on your Rockwell. We had one of it's twins at the helicopter shop and it was a fine machine.

I picked up a "like new" Craftsman Commercial 6X48 on the heavy base last week at a garage sale. The seller said he got it from an family member's estate, thinking he would do some woodworking. He said it sat in the garage for a few years and he never got around to the woodwork so he just wanted it gone. When he told me $45 USD would buy it, I couldn't find my billfold fast enough! :big: On top of basically giving me the sander he threw in a box of new belts and some discs with it.

Sorry for the "tool gloat", but I am so happy, I'm gobsmacked!

Funny thing about tool finds, is they usually pop up when you least expect them.

Very Nice Finds for both of you!

Congrats on being in the right place at the right time.

Rick
