Hi all,
First let me say what a fantastic forum you have here and what a "Grouse" (Aussie slang for great) and helpfull bunch
of people from all corners of the world.
I have been lurking for a while to get a feel for this forum and believe i have found a place to call home for my modeling endeavours.
A bit about me, i live in Melbourne Australia and have been a motor mechanic for some 30 years but now work for a company that
imports Chinese office machines as a service Tech ( office machines are like working on cars, its just that the motor is missing) :big:.
You guys that have Chinese machines will understand that they come from China half finished (like my X2 Mill & 230mm x 510mm oops
sorry ;D 9x20 lathe), Chinese office machines are the same and a big part of my job is to get them to a standard that they can be sold .
I have done a heap of machining on lathes, mills, surface grinders etc over the years in the jobs that i have had but only recently
decided i would like to make model engines and have started making an E-Z engine from this site.
My goal is to work up to building live steam and eventually IC engines (they fit my background).
All the best to all and i look forward to helping anyone that i can with the skills that i have gained while working on machines.
Kindest Regards Peter
P.S Good Luck With Your Projects!
