Apropos to my discovering the workshop floor post on the 'What did you do today' thread, here is some treasure discovered by my father when he moved house for the first time in 53 years a few months ago.
I'd given them to him during my apprenticeship when we ahd a break from craft training and went to sea for 6 months. I squirreled them away to save having to regrind but forgot they were there. (Several stops in the West Indes at 20 years old will play havoc with your memory).
Also there's a part finished drill press vice which was a milling project which you pecked away at as the sylabus allowed. The ground down hacksaw blade was for removing the corners on filed internal squares and hexes for bench fitting.
A bit of corrosion here and there but 22 years in his garden shed didn't do too much harm!
