First time using a boring head to cut a cam. Only had a single cam to cut.
What type of cutter are people using to cut cams this way, as clearance would be needed to cut a double cam.
Gives a lot better finish than a milling cutter
First pic, cam blank on gear,
Second pic, cutting cam,
Third pic, finished cutting,
Forth pic, cut of blank,
Last pic, finished to size and fitted to gear.
