Question:
Have you ever researched the Fairbanks engines and actually found evidence of the original full sized 1A?
I've seen lots of literature and come across a few others but not the 1A.
I've concluded that this model was a fabrication.
I'd be interested in your opinion.
A nice engine in any case.

Hmmmmm - - - - no expert on either but there would seem to be more than a hint of similarity to the Lister single cylinder diesel.
Am I out to lunch?

Yes i have seen a full size Eclipse 1A a friend of mine restored one earlier this year and that is what got me into building the model. If i can figure out how to get videos off my phone to the computer i would post it. Don
