A number of other museums along the river there near Titusville and Oil City. A real pleasant ride on a motorcycle as the road has some nice curves as it follows the river.

Another first to visit is in Neodesha KS.

First oil well East of the Mississippi is in Titusville PA, and first oil well West of the Mississippi in Neodesha KS. Not nearly as picturesque...

Except in Southeast Kansas there are hills and plenty of trees, just not many twisty roads...

And contrary to popular myth, Kansas is not flat. Pretty much rolling hills over most of the state. For Flat you need to go to Illinois or Norther Indiana... Or South Texas.
