I'd like to make a very public congratulations to a guy I used to work with.
My boy and I went golfing this afternoon. It was raining with thunder in the
distance. SO WHAT! It's only water and sparks.
As we started on the 2nd 9 holes Robbie Hall was on the tee box. He joined
us to make a threesome. The owner of the golf course was there with a warning.
He said, "Rick, if you see lightning, you have to come back in."
We promised to do exactly that. We only saw lightning once so we kept playing.
The 18th hole is a down hill Par 3.
Robbie said he was going to aim for this dark spot on the green and the ball would
roll back to the hole.
He did EXACTLY that!
It was the very first Hole In One I have ever witnessed in person.
