A simple page with an online calculator for change gears
Then I thought about doing this calculation in reverse. So you supply the leadscrew pitch and the thread pitch you want to cut. Then I have made it so that you enter 3 gear options for each position and it then calculates all of the options. This and the simple calculator have been added to my workshop calculator excel download - free to download
Perfect matches are highlighted in green, ratios within 2% error are highlighted in amber.
Hopefully this is of use to a few people.
