I am quite pleased with it as it is an improvement on my first one.
We also bought a Motorhome, with a lot of faults ,gladly most are put right and we have started to use it at last.

What I know about violins you could write on the head of a pin, but there's beautiful craftsmanship gone into that! A piece you can be rightfully proud of!

Hi Don. Beautiful craftsmanship. What timber is the back and sides. (koa?). I have been building acoustic guitars since i was 14. ( i turn61 tomoro) so i know how much effort goes into these instruments. The archtops are a similar construction to the violin. One block of spruce then carve and tap test etc etc. Great work.

Thanks Tel and Herbi,Herbi ,the top is Spruce and bottom and sides are Maple, both carved from the solid,2 pieces glued together ,takes forever.

Beautiful job on that violin. I know it's not an engine but a video still would still be nice so we could hear the master carve up a tune. I am sure that it will sound as good as it looks. Thanks for showing it to us.

Cheers :)

Don,you are mistaken if I played the violin it would sound like a cat with it's Kn***ers in a vice,I wish I could play and would love someone to play it for me.

I guess you must be something like me. I love to listen to music but I couldn't carry a tune if you put it in a bucket for me. It is still a fine looking Violin.

Cheers :)
