anyone know anything little two stroke

hi i have had this little engine for a couple of years now an old gent now in his eighties gave it to me for payment of a job
it turns out that his dad made it but thats all we know it has what looks to be an old mica insulated spark plug a neat timming advance and retard and all around great machining
he also gave me a horizontal engine but i got that runnjng and gave it back to him i will show pics and see if you have any ideas

There were many, many designs similar to the model airplane engine you have in your pics.
Some of them are very close to others of different makers, so you may have to do a
deal of research. Or you may get lucky.

Have a look at this page. Remember, yours may have been made slightly differently from
one that was a casting kit, depending on the original builders' tastes.
