I was settling in for the night here and went to the cabinet to pour a drink.
The result was:

Straight up, no ice, fruits, candies or salts should ever alter the perfect Kentucky Rye Whiskey.

Seems like just yesterday that whole bottle was the color of that glass.
Where does the time go?

Now I am not advocating the use of alcohol! Just whining because my favorite
straight grain juice is gone. That's OK, they make more every day! ;D

There will be no shop time tonight!
Safety First! ;)

you sound bored rick. Go build and engine. after the whiskey wears off.
I know my father in law loved his rye whiskey. but never met the man he had passed away before I met my wife.

Rick

In my case that would have actually been yesterday.

Man you got some pretty big fingers to measure with. I used to enjoy Rye products but made the decision to stop what I thought was becoming a habit. I agree with Tin, go do something in the shop and save the good stuff for those special occasions, like the successful completion of an engine. ;D

Rick,
If you ever get to the Eastern part of the state drop in for some of this. I received it as a gift for doing a friend a favor. Since my usual libation is carbonated and has a lot less wallop than this it's likely you will get the first sample of it.
