A WINTER POEM

It's winter in OHIO
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At five below.
Oh, how I love OHIO
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes,
The weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave OHIO
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!

Promise you won't go out into the shop and use heavy machinery in this condition. *beer*

At least William Shakespeare can rest easy!

:big: Sure sign of Cabin Fever - not the one where a lot of chaps go to display little engines though!

Been a while since we've had a spot of poetry on HMEM!

I'm not sure of Ohio
I've not been down that way
But setting here in Canada
I simply have to say--

I'm sure Ohios cold enough
To put ice cubes in your glass
But if you come up to my place
Then you'll really freeze your----ankle!!!

A mid -winter poem from South Texas to let you know we are feeling your pain...

It was cold last night,
Almost froze last night,
Temps in the thirties
Only made the hgh sixties,
Won't be so cold tonight...

P.S. I grew up near Buffalo NY and can still remeber the blizard of 77. And I am not really feeling your pain...
