A reminder to all that the Western Model Engine Exhibition (WEME) is less than 20 days away, July 19 & 20, 2008
http://www.wemeshow.com/
The show is in Vallejo, California which is in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is the 2nd show hosted by the Bay Area Engine Modelers and promoted by Model Engine Builder Magazine.
I had the good fortune to attend this event last year and as you might expect, I was in Hog Heaven. Last years event was well planned and the turnout of spectators and exhibitors was impressive.
I reside in Southern California, approximately 500 miles South of Vallejo. As close as that is, I like many others, are rationing my travel mileage due to the recent rise in the cost of fuel. That being sad, I highly recommend that if you have an interest in Model Machining, consider this show strongly.
If you can combine this activity with other sightseeing activities as suggested by others on this Forum, the better. http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=1893.msg15082#msg15082
