Hi all, i am an Aussie by birth, but I have made Canada my home.
I have been a model maker for as long as I can remember, and I have a photo of myself, with a broken arm, operating my dad's home made lathe when I was 8 or 9! I am 62 yrs young.
I have a small home workshop with a lathe and mill/drill. i have MIG,TIG, and plasma cutting abilities, as well as an oxy set.

My current projects are a 5" gauge 4-6-0 steam Loco from Model Engineer Mags, The "JONES BIG GOODS". I have the chassis made to where it runs on air in forward and reverse. The Tender is mostly completed also.

I am also building a '30 Ford Cabriolet Hot Rod.

I have made a few Gas Powered Tether Cars, and you can see a few of my other projects at members.shaw.ca/podmek. I originally signed up in April, just forgot to introduce myself.
