I did two things yesterday that will improve my shop productivity greatly. First I installed a light down under. Not in Australia, under my bench! It seems that whenever I drop something I goes to the darkest part of the shop, under the bench. That spot now has its own permanently installed light with a convenient switch. I was fiddling with a bunch of small parts yesterday and finally just decided to leave the light on.

The second thing I did was spring for the $99 Alibre Standard offer. I got the 30 day trial last Feb. which reverted to the limited version after 30 days. I could live with most of the limitations and resisted the half price ($499) but for $99 I could no longer hold out.

So what if it doesn't include support. I like to figure things out myself any way and if I get stuck I'll bet I can get plenty of help right here! What a great resource this forum is. I get answers to questions that I never even thought to ask. Thanks to all who offer their knowledge and experience.

Jerry
